SEO in 2021

SEO techniques change so often that it can be difficult to keep up with. Just when you think you have your site optimized, and starting to rank, Google releases another algorithm update and your rankings drop again! 2021 is no exception. But the good news is that in my opinion, SEO is getting easier. That's right. EASIER.

In one of the largest algorithm updates ever, Google recently confirmed and released their "mobile first" algorithm update that rewards sites by ranking mobile versions of sites higher than those that are not mobile friendly. It's been discussed for a long time. Everyone knows that more and more people are using their smart phones to access the internet and search online. Google for sure recognizes this and has officially addressed that with their most recent ranking update.

In our 2020 SEO update, we mentioned the three parts of SEO, which are on-page optimization, off-page optimization, and reporting. With our 2021 update, we are also officially putting less emphasis on off-page optimization and more emphasis toward on-page optimization and specifically mobile-friendliness and page load speed times. In fact, we just recently updated our site to make sure it is 100% mobile friendly, and have already noticed a boost in rankings and traffic, and we are already a top 100,000 trafficked site in the world!

Reporting is still important because if you don't know how your site is doing over time, you can't measure the results. Our free page-rank checking tool is of course a great place to start because you can see your metrics. And if you really want to make sure your site is mobile friendly, responsive, and quick to load, don't worry, we can help. Feel free to contact us about your campaign needs.
